Iceland is ideal for couples who crave simplicity and scale at the same time. You can exchange vows beside a waterfall with no one else around, wander across volcanic terrain, or stand barefoot on a black sand beach with the ocean stretching endlessly behind you.
Location Curation: I recommend locations based on your experience level, privacy preferences, lighting conditions, and the kind of atmosphere you want your day to hold, not just what’s trending online.
Permits & Responsible Planning: I guide you through where ceremonies are permitted, how to navigate protected areas respectfully, and what’s required to ensure your elopement is both meaningful and compliant with Icelandic regulations.
Weather-Conscious Timeline Design: I build flexible timelines that account for shifting light, unpredictable weather, and travel between locations, so your day feels calm, spacious, and unrushed.
Experience-Led Direction: I help you design a day that feels meaningful from start to finish, with space to explore, pause, and actually be present together.
My approach blends documentary storytelling with gentle editorial direction. I’ll guide you when needed and step back when the moment calls for quiet authenticity.
Iceland’s landscapes are powerful on their own, your photos should feel honest, connected, and true to how it felt to stand there together. Wind in your hair, cold air on your skin, laughter between moments, those are the details that matter most.
Iceland elopements are perfect for couples who:
The outdoors has always been where I feel most at home. I've spent countless days backpacking through rugged terrain, running remote trails, and mountain biking down winding singletrack. Pushing myself on solo adventures, like backpacking the Wonderland Trail and the Tour du Mont Blanc, has only deepened my appreciation for wild places. After years of exploring Colorado, the PNW, and Iceland where I’ve had the chance to experience some of the most incredible landscapes, I knew I wanted to help others connect with nature in a meaningful way. That’s what led me to adventure elopement photography. Capturing couples in these stunning, remote places, where the experience matters just as much as the photos, is something I truly love. Now, I’m also getting to share that passion with my son, introducing him to the same trails, mountains, and open spaces that have shaped so much of my life.
